Posted on July 18, 2013 by Knarf
Sunday, oct. 23, I visited Jo Brown’s, Blue Sky Studio in Baltimore, North East Charles Village on St. Paul Street. I must say I liked every painting I saw, which were many. Rarely do I like everything that I see of a particular artist. Not only that, she was one of the most informative artis the I have ever met.

Jo Brown paints on site, which is called Plein air– that’s a lot of trouble to go through to make a painting. She has a style that’s truly unique and when you look at her paintings, you tend to get to caught up into the scene. I was tempted to purchase one her paintings but decided not to because it was still early in the day and I had many more studios to visit on the Open Studio Tour.
